Terms of Use
These terms describe the limits of Hexpedia's free color reference service and how source data, trademarks, and external links are handled.
Acceptance
By using Hexpedia, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Hexpedia is offered as a free public reference for color values and related CSS workflows.
The service
Hexpedia provides static reference pages for hexadecimal colors, color conversions, named color datasets, public brand color values, and palette combinations. The site is provided as-is. We try to keep data accurate, readable, and properly sourced, but color references can contain mistakes or become outdated when upstream brand guidelines change.
Content ownership and sources
Color values are factual data and are not copyrightable by themselves. CSS named colors and xkcd survey names come from public-domain or CC0 sources where applicable. Wikipedia-derived color list material is attributed in the footer as CC-BY-SA source material. Material Design colors are listed under Apache 2.0 source terms, and Tailwind colors are listed under MIT source terms. Public brand color values are sourced from publicly accessible brand guidelines or public brand resources where cited on brand pages.
Trademark notice
Brand names, product names, and company names mentioned on /brand pages are trademarks of their respective owners. Hexpedia is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to any listed brand unless a page explicitly says otherwise. Hexpedia does not display brand logos, logotypes, or official artwork.
Acceptable use
You may browse, link to, and use Hexpedia as a reference. Do not scrape the site aggressively, overload the hosting platform, bypass reasonable technical controls, or use the site in a way that interferes with other visitors. If you need bulk reference data, contact the operator before running automated traffic at scale.
No warranty
Hexpedia is provided without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, complete, or fit for a particular design, legal, accessibility, or brand-compliance purpose. Always verify brand colors against the current official brand guideline before using them in production work.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Hexpedia and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or business losses arising from use of the site, reliance on color data, temporary downtime, or links to external sites.
Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong. Nothing in this section deprives consumers of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.
